Class Goals:
This class is for graduates of the Behavior Modification Private Lessons & Leash Reactive Dogs Classes. This class is not competition-based but is classified as “therapeutic agility”. The idea is to give fearful or reactive a chance to get some exercise and encourage confidence & focus. Class sizes is limited to only 4 dogs so that each dog/handler team can gain some individual time in the fenced ring while the other teams work in adjacent fenced rings and outside the ring. There will only be one dog in the main ring at a time.
Pre-Class requirements
- Handlers must have taken a Leash Reactive Dogs class or private lessons in Behavior Modification
- Dogs should be crate-trained.
- Dogs should be at least 1 year old, of a healthy weight, and without health problems.
- Pre-registration with pre-payment is required.
- No shock collars, e-collars, prong collars or choke chains allowed in class.
- Please fill out a Behavior Profile Form for your instructor before class begins
Tuition: $220
Duration: Once a week for 6 weeks
Class Size: 4 Dogs Maximum
